When it comes to medicines and food, the most important thing is correct storage.

And! always check goods for damage before storage.

In my experience, the following values are successful:
A temperature of approximately 10 °C to 16 °C;
dry with a humidity of around 50% to 65%;
dark, so not exposed to bright light, especially not UV;
dust-free and no grease haze.

A shelving system, clean cardboard/wooden boxes and a dehumidifier or dry packs promote long storage.

I hope there are tons of criminal charges! These brutal thugs have no place in the police and every decent police officer has to endure scolding and contempt for this. I hope those brutal thugs lose their jobs and are sentenced to heavy fines and compensation. From now on, their families have to be ashamed of having such low creature in their family. The children of such brutal thugs should be brought to safety, because at some point they will act out at home too.

When I was younger, I was in the fire and rescue service, and so I got to know a lot of police officers. In this time there were almost only decent police officers, and they would have arrested such a brutal thug immediately. I value our legal system, and I know that one should follow the legal process, but in such a case the health of the attacked always takes priority! This brutal thug has lost all rights, because he has dishonored himself, our legal system and the uniform!

Microsoft is refusing to let me update an older (Thinkpad T460) laptop to the most recent version of Windows 10 (it won't run Windows 11 at all, which is fine since I don't want to use it).

Install/upgrade fails every time with obscure error codes that defy troubleshooting.

Next step: Ubuntu 22.04, which is the most recent version of that Linux flavor and works great on older hardware.

Note: I've been running Linux as my primary OS for more than a decade...

Update, found a workaround.

I recently had to set up a laptop for a friend whose company has to use Windows 11. After all these years without Windows, I almost despaired at the hurdles of installing it at all and by the time I was finally finished, with all the updates etc., it took almost 5 hours.

The same laptop without a hard disk, only with RAM via Linux boot stick, was fully operational in 3 minutes and much faster and more pleasant.

After almost 25 years as an Amazon customer, I deleted my account. About 6 years ago, I noticed that Amazon was getting worse and worse and the much-vaunted service had almost disappeared.

When I wanted to rent Dune 2, I had to pay a price of 17.90 Euro. I am finally fed up. 17.90 Euro for 48 hours watching? I'm stubborn and prefer not to have something than to be boiled! If I break with someone or something once, the break is forever!
