I don't understand how the generation that literally watched CFCs in aerosols wreck our ozone layer (and the rebound it had when those CFCs were banned) can sit back and deny that manmade climate change is real.

Reading the story tells you why.

First, syphilis rates are at a 70-year high, nationally. Between 2018 and 2022, syphilis rates rose about 80%.

Second, because it has to be made separately (for allergy purposes), manufacturing penicillin is comparatively resource-intensive.

Erin Fox, associate chief pharmacy officer for the University of Utah health system says
"That means you can't make other drugs on that manufacturing line.”

Does anyone have a better solution for intermittent audio when via TV?

This is unwatchable.

Assume my router and TV are touching. Assume my router is less than three months old. Assume I have “a high speed connection.” Assume I have rebooted everything.

@naptowncode It’s just audio. And seems to related somehow to the soundbar. (Turn that off, audio is fine.)

Your (very good) point about processing aside, neither of these are old. Also, we didn’t have this trouble with this TV+soundbar+Directv. The streaming was the change that showed or created the problem. And isolating the soundbar shows where the issue (more or less) is.

Thanks for the answers. If you have a soundbar solution I’ll thank you for that, too.

@naptowncode Pass-through isn’t an actively selectable option for whatever reason.

I’ve left the sound bar off for a few days and the TV’s native audio output has worked as it should.

But I’ve just turned it back on. Let’s see what happens!

NBC and CBS rebelled with ASCAP's wanting to triple radio play fees, and ended up with fees dropping by half.

But also music changed-- sudden success of rhythm and blues and country music (non-ascap).

I had an Uber driver in 2018 or 2019. Retired Navy man. We started talking politics and he said “My father is 75 and in pretty great shape, but, man, he shouldn’t be president, either. I wouldn’t vote for him.”

I think about the substance of that conversation a lot.

The weirdest part of this story of yet still another sexual harassment investigation in the , and at — where Teresa Woodruff is the FOURTH president since Lou Anna Simon stepped down in disgrace in 2018 after “presiding” over the Nassar scandal — isn’t that the university may face another open records lawsuit. Or that the coach was at for a time.

The weirdest thing is the game summary tacked on the end.
