everything about this Automattic (WordPress + Tumblr) deal with OpenAI and Midjourney just fills me with rage. Even moreso because, even without this deal, those companies were defying copyright and scraping things, anyway. It feels like artists, writers, and creators are being stomped into the mud while others do what they want.

Then said: "How do we know that hasn't already happened and we're in a game right now?" and I went: Because you'd be dead or in jail.
