Today: If you have them, put three pieces of Lego in a sock, otherwise three non-smooth stones about the size of a piece of Lego. Find somewhere comfortable to sit. Put the sock with the Lego/stones near one foot. Sit quietly then for about a minute if a stressful or negative thought comes into your head press your foot onto the contents of the sock until it becomes a bit uncomfortable.

Today: Take a piece of paper that can be drawn on, and a pencil or pen (any kind) outside to where you can see a tree that has shed it’s leaves. In one minute, mark down on the paper, the trunk, and branches of the tree in a similar way to drawing a stick person drawing.

Driving a friend to hospital today. She has a bleed in her eye. Hoping all ok but also if I'm truly honest rather her than me! I'm utterly terrified of having anything done to my eyes.

Today: Have a fallen leaf you like the look of, to hand. Fill a bowl, sink or deep tray with water. For one minute float the leaf on the water, gently blowing it to move it around.
