Love the fact that my new keyboard makes me aware of my typing speed. Apparently on long tests where I have the time to get going my typing speed is 147 WPM. This assumes im not putting in any effort to max out my typing speed, however even if i do i doubt id get it too much higher.

marathon,

@freemo Does that number allow for mistakes? That's pretty fast, even competent secretaries back in the day were considered excellent at 80 wpm. So you're exceptional!

marathon,

@freemo Yeah but you have to deduct your errors to have a realistic number. On the best of days I can only acheive 80 WPM and I've been typing since 1973. That's with errors deducted btw.

marathon,

@Crell Sorry to hear all about your tribulations with this. AFAIC block lists are redundant, Mastodon doesn't need them. Every user has the ability to block individuals and/or instances right in the Mastodon online interface. In my opinion this is the mechanism that should be used, NOT blocklists.

The Fediverse/Mastodon functioned quite well before the Twitter hoardes came over with their toxicity, and wanting blocklists, IMO. They were used over there to getting people suspended due to the way Twitter and Government 3 letter agencies were working together to censor. I personally have been blocklisted by entire instances too, unfounded I might add.

Too many fiefdoms like mastodon.art unfortunately.

Isn't the reason to attract more developers? Most young developers are quite familiar with Git and perfer it from what I understand.

If Trump wins, it's because of white people and racism. PERIOD.

marathon,

@StillIRise1963 I don't believe it's that simplistic. There are black people that like him to, even socialists like myself, like SOME even if few. Unfortunately there are very few politico's in the wings that will be progressive, yet realize that gender politics are rubbish/non senscial, and won't support the Zionists in Israel. We're doomed until the entire Washington swamp is cleared out. It shouldn't be so expensive to run for political office. That's were we're running into rampant corruption in most democracies. Lobbyists should be outlawed too.

Works great with SWAY too. Some apps need to be changed but very few.

In 2005, researchers unearthed the intact skull of a prehistoric human ancestor at the archaeological site of Dmanisi, a quaint town in southern Georgia, Europe.

This skull is attributed to an extinct hominin species that thrived 1.85 million years ago.

Kirkjubøargarður (Yard of Kirkjubøur) aka King's or Vikings Farm in windswept Faroe Islands, Denmark. It is one of oldest continuously inhabited wooden homes in the world and could very well be most venerable. Remote farmhouse was constructed in 11th Century CE, using driftwood from Norway – Faroe Islands are virtually treeless and timber has long been a precious commodity.

So I am about to release v2.1.0 of (A Hugo based Static Page Generator that has ActivityPub/Fediverse support).

I am running the latest version on my personal page. Could anyone who has a moment check it out and see if you see any CSS glitches? Any feedback welcome. I will release later today.

Sad that people on Mastodon, such as @SirCandinavian go around telling people to "KILL THEMSELVES".

I really hope others can and will report this user for their comments.

I hope this isn't the type of users that @adam allows on their instance.

Why report, just block and move on. Use the tools at your disposal and stop being a rat. Anyone can tell it wasn't a serious threat for gawds sake! Too many cupcakes from the former Twitter site, unfortunately always want to report. 🤦🏼‍♂️
