Its less horrifying to rip apart reality for a moment and fix that than to have every molecule of you fit through a laser and data chip. I've seen Star Trek transporter accidents. And then I've seen 3D Printers at my high school make mistakes and keep going until its a spaghetti covered mess... Something tells me Star Trek was being kind on the failure rates, we'd have too far to go. 😬😫

@RickiTarr Got a small cocktail of them at the moment, but the biggest reason is my lack of a baby maker. Mine was silly and tried to kill me at a young age. It's gone now. HRT ever since.

When I was just exploring instruments, I felt a lot more confident about my abilities as a guitarist. Now that I’m more focused on electric guitar, I am surprised at how I really feel it hard when all the “legendary” guitar lists I come across only feature men. I end up feeling like I don’t belong. I’m still a singer-songwriter first. But I want more female/non-binary/trans guitarists in my world, and some who are also living well and paying the bills with their music. :blobcatcoffee:

By popular request (me) here is one more clip from my latest song, a “post rock ambient delight” according to critics (me) :blobcatcoffee:
I aimed to create the windy howls of rocky places like the Grand Canyon or somewhere in Utah by manipulating sounds in Hypha, Piano Colors, and Noire piano from NI. No loops. Nimona (Charvel pro mod 24 DK) is set up with some compression, a spreader, silver and chromaverb, and a multi spread time delay (studio and tape).

The late afternoon sunlight casts reflections through the window blinds onto the bare walls. A haze moves through shadows as the light changes. Thank you for listening and have a lovely day!

Okay, picking up from my video game post yesterday, I'm curious:

When you play video games, rpgs, ect, where you get to choose your character, do you tend to choose a character of the same sex, the opposite sex, non-binary, anthropomorphic, or a mysterious 4th option?

If you want to share screenshots of character builds I would enjoy that!

Colleges would just learn about them, spend weeks just interviewing them, then fight each other to appease them: "your money's no good here, look, take this Doctorate, did we get your name right?" "We can give you one too, and how would you like a job?" "Really, well how about a team of 15-20 hand picked staff?" "Three words: your own building?"

They would be the teenager of fantasy. Who left high school, went out in the world, and made a fortune while they still knew everything. A HS Counselor's nightmare. 😯
