Dream journal: ohhhh I just remembered what I dreamed about! It was The Lord of the Rings, the bit where the eagles carry off Frodo and Sam from Mount Doom, and I had the brilliant idea that it (an adaptation?) should be a more involved scene with the eagles having to dodge arrows and flaming trebuchet missiles and such, the hobbits swinging perilously and undefended from their claws, etc., to show it more as a risky last-ditch attempt rather than a deus ex machina, and to show why they didn't use the eagles in the first place.
