@blogdiva I see you already got the answer, but caveat that blocking on fedi is more like a "super-mute". It also depends on interoperable platforms respecting the blocking feature, and there are some that don't. I don't know whether Threads currently does, and I think it is quite likely that even if they do, one day it will not be the case.

PSA: Simple Mobile Tools, a great suite of basic Android apps, has been acquired by Zipo Apps, a company in the business of buying and monetizing apps.

A longtime contributor is starting a fork, and there's also discussion on /r/SimpleMobileTools about alternatives.

In the meanwhile, if you installed any of the apps from Google Play Store, you can go to the app's Google Play Store page, tap the 3-dot menu, and uncheck "Enable auto-update".
