    Doing some background on how the shutdowns affected businesses (which ones survived, thrived, died) and why.

    I scanned this McKinsey report (05.01.2020) and realized how we took an opportunity to improve nearly everything in how we do - including normalizing remote work and empowering more decision makers - and as soon as life got back to (relative) normal, the CEOs mostly ditched it all in favor of returning to their comfort zones.

    This comes down to one realisation.

    A few dozen people at the top of each organisation are the one's making the decision for the whole & are short sighted. No one has the guts to tell them if they are wrong.

    In an ideal world companies should be more open to feedback from internal employees.

    The new "Privacy Sandbox" feature will track web pages you visit & generate a list of advertising topics shared with web pages whenever they ask & it's built directly into the Chrome browser.

    Leaving it on for a while, you can check out the "Ad topics" page, where Google will show you what ads Chrome thinks you would like to see.

    This list gets sent to advertisers when you visit a page.
