For the launch of the #RepairReuseDeclaration ahead of #RepairDay, we commissioned a YouGov poll and found:

1. Too many people (47%) didn't manage to repair the most recent electrical that broke (they either didn't try or were unsuccessful)

2. The main reasons for that were: Cost (38%) and time taken to repair (33%)

3. There is overwhelming support for policies to make #repair and #reuse of electricals easier.

We asked the UK public what they did with their last broken electrical device. Pie chart: Couldn't repair it or didn't try (47%) Got it repaired (28%) Other/don't know (14%) Got a replacement under warranty (10%)
