I agree with it, but I feel we're so far from an awakening moment.
You look at what's happening all over the world and the reaction, or lack of it, of the lucky ones around us, and you feel that humans are an hopeless and selfish species destined to extinction.

@jonburr@glynmoody I feel very conflicted about this article. Yes, the rabbi recognises the pain of Gazans, but he quickly points the finger to Hamas and adds that Israel is being demonised....
I also agree that Jews around the world shouldn't be abused for their faith, but again, the rabbi mentions only the abused Jews. Not a word about the insane islamofobia that has led to the shooting of a couple of teenagers in the US.

That's the trick, the two contenders, you must vote for the third! They might not get in power straight away, but they might slowly grow in numbers and one day, my grandchildren might see a better government and real democracy.
