Am I going hard on Germany non-stop on here? Definitely, I'm trying to spur German society into a moment of reckoning that could bring enough shame or doubt to stop this genocide, as is seemingly every Jew who lived there and had their career sabotaged by anti- outcasting & blacklisting practices, which as more of us speak out, appear to truly be a ton. And its not just us, but all pro-Palestinian activists; we just happen to make up the second largest demographic presence in the solidaridarity movement because we, unlike Germans, tend to take the Holocaust and its larger, unceasing, monstrous older sibling โ€” โ€”incredibly seriously.

Israelis are settlers, a small portion of whom are descendants of Holocaust refugees (the majority of whom settled in France, according to the claims commission); only their shared interests in advancing the genocidal Zionist project makes them "a people"; not that they are Jewish, as too many Jews, including the oldest bodies of rabbinic authority, reject the Zionist political project. I am Jewish and have nothing in common with most Israelis; I am not a part of their people โ€” last time I tried to go I was denied entry due to my activism; Israel is therefore obviously not the state of the Jewish people, but the state of the Jewish Zionist settler-colonial political project. It would be antisemitic to not distinguish the two, because that implies that Judaism โ€” an explicitly antinationalist religion the laws of which prohibit violence except in the most extreme circumstances โ€” is inherently driven to ethnonationalist violence.

Pretending that large swaths of the country opposes the genocide of is an obvious lie. They fill the streets in the tens of thousands when a politician who wants to take their healthcare away steals an election; when Palestinian children are mass murdered, their limbs scattered across the tent cities they've been told to flee to as the bombardment intensifies for all the world to see, they show up in mere tens.

is a fascist ideology that needs to be removed from power and refused recognition under international law. There is no way to distinguish it from what is happening now.

A core component of ideology is that they refuse to live in an Arab/Palestinian majority society. That makes Zionism utterly incompatible with the most basic human rights. It means that Israel is constantly widening the conditions of immigration to incentivize more and more settlement, while increasing their criminal practice of non-consensual sterilization of non-white communities such as Ethiopians and Eritreans. Some studies suggest a majority of Russians moving there today are not even Jewish. Having spent time defending Palestinian demonstrators in Hebron, ive seen the large settler recruitment tours, many of which are full of redneck Americans that don't appear to be in anyway from my experience of growing up Jewish in the American south.

Ethnonationalism is never a good thing. Palestinians were incredibly welcoming when we first arrived, until Zionist terror attacks and land grabs in the 20s and 30s triggered the Arab revolts. And yet, given all that they have gone through, the 2018 Hamas Party program still dedicates itself to forming a democratic government where any Israeli who is prepared to follow the law โ€” including their planned land reform โ€” will be given citizenship.

Following Edward Said, Steve Salaita and my professor Judith Butler's lead, in the naughties and early 10s, I was a proponent of the so-called solution. But after spending time there, and hearing out the frum community that considers a stare of Israel to be a sacrilege on the Jewish faith, I honestly believe that what is needed is a simple state of Palestine. is generic and of long historical precedent; is an ethnonationalist colonial program that exists in stark violation of Jewish law. It is irrational, and only exists to give a olive branch to a fascist ideology that has proven to be entirely genocidal.

So, numerous Israeli families went to the ICJ against Hamas, because they are understandably going through hell with their family members being held captive. Nothing wrong with that. I get it and agree.

I just want you to remember that I call it now, the ICJ will rule against Hamas in no-time, whilst also stalling with providing the Palestinians with any real resolution.
