Well, cyclists have been told for decades that we must wear high visibility clothing and need flashing lights. My county tried to pass a law that all cyclists had to have a 6 foot flag on the bike.
So, since you are the problem, not the truck, you need to get some bright yellow safety vests, attach a flashing light and wear a helmet with a 3 foot flag attached to the top.
@msquebanh I've been known to eat a sea bug or two in my time. And let's face it if a shrimp ran out from under the refrigerator most people would stomp it hard!
I saw your reply just after reading the scene in the Iliad where Phoenix tries to convince Achilles to rejoin the battle for Troy.
I believe this is an example of quantum entanglement. I'm going to take some quiet time to think hard upon it.
Good luck with your clematis, it's a hard to kill plant, reliable and rewarding every year. One of the few that can survive the 4 season extremes of eastern Missouri.
Our lawnmower's battery charger stopped working over the weekend. $200 for a new one, which is like 1/3 of a lawnmower. Ugh.
I ordered the weird screwdriver to open the case for $7, watched a 20 min YouTube with someone debugging a similar model. I was able to take it apart and solder back together a component that had come loose. 💅 It's been up and working for 20 minutes with no explosions or even bad smells.
Being willing to attempt to repair stuff is such a superpower. YouTube is amazing. ✌🏻
Combine Angelou's "When someone shows you who they are, believe them" with the truism that in politics, "every accusation is a confession" and you get: "Every time someone accuses you of a vice, they're showing you who they are and you should believe them."

"Capitalists don't want market economies, where they have to compete with one another, eroding their margins and profits – they want a planned economy, like Amazon, where Party Secretary Bezos and his commissars tell merchants what they can sell and tell us what we must pay:"
"Capitalists hate capitalism, because capitalism only works if the capitalists are in a constant state of terror inspired by the knowledge that tomorrow, someone smarter could come along and open a better business, poaching their customers and workers, and putting the capitalist on the breadline."
"Incredibly, two men survived the plunge, including one who refused medical aid and walked away — either a statement about his fortitude, or his immigration status."
"One of the biggest truths about 21st century America is that while our corrupt institutions fail us, the strength of everyday people nevertheless persists."
I inherited a couple devices. The laptop was so thoroughly hacked I gave up - HP locked down the bios making it pretty hard to install #Ubuntu and UNETbootin wasn't working because the hacked device was blocked from downloading an ISO given my limited skills. Plus I didn't want to spend hours working trying to rescue a 10 year old hacked laptop.
Aww, damn. #RIP Award-winning journalist Charles Osgood, who anchored "CBS Sunday Morning" for 22 years and was host of the long-running radio program "The Osgood File," died Tuesday at home in New Jersey. He was 91.
