I really like this eight minute if I do say so myself.

@adanskana @sachac @louis
can I ask for some opinions on the clim / emacs / lisp useage as conveyed by videos?

This is pretty much just what I really do when near a computer for eight minutes.

I've got:
cat

house
star
horsechestnut tree
larch
New Zealand beech

But I'm basically out of ideas

@louis by the way, I had kept thinking about what you said about writing extremely ANSI C.

I argue this is a mistake, which amounts to trying to concurrently develop for every available platform at once (by imposing a set of restrictions they all are hoped to want to meet). In fact, I think you should develop specifically for your development environment, and packagers (not you) from particular operating systems and distributions should be the ones to patch and package it for themselves.

tl;dr people are already doing well by breaking out of the sameyness with power tools and cultural memory. On the other hand, it must be hard to break into the crowds of The Exact Same People Doing The Exact Same Thing With The Exact Same Engine Demo Examples. Maybe just don't worry about it. I kinda regret writing this.

Hey can someone help me with my contribution to thought for the show on Wednesday.

I am imagining the now-famous metric of the ratio of temperature anomolies in a time period, showing those horrifying graphs.

My idea is that the climate is a finitely high dimensional system, and this high temperature anomoly counting is like tallying the dims whose heat absorption got used up in that time.
Only a small number of the dimensions are well known, like ocean surface temperature.

In my quest for an easier emacs on ramp, I made an org file for adding templated elisp source block sections to itself, which tangles to an elisp file, to be loaded on startup.

Well, I'm now aware that my home's basement is helical.

I had originally generated it with some common lisp, but when I tried to dump the large, drunk maze onto https://lambda.moo.mud.org I banged my head on the object creation limit. I'll need to make a content-dribbler.

My deeper desire is that I want to drive all of my moo client, lisp image and elisp server from inside .

Now I've been wandering my own basement, mapping it out.
