Auch wenn es doof für mich persönlich ist, unterstütze ich die Anliegen der .

Aber mal zu am Rande gefragt, aus akademischem Interesse:

Verglichen mit Autos, sollte es ja relativ einfach sein: Wie weit ist die Entwicklung bei autonom fahrenden Zügen?

Ich denke dabei vor allem an Rangieren von Güterzügen auf Bahnhöfen. Zusammen mit automatischen Kupplungen könnte das im Güterverkehr ein echter Sprung nach vorne sein, oder?

Relativ weit. Man redet schon sehr lange davon ;-)
Bisher fahrerlos in Betrieb sind erst gewisse "Inselbetriebe", in der Schweiz etwa bei der Metro Lausanne.
In der grossen Fläche gibt es noch einige Stolpersteine zu beheben. Eine Prognose ist schwierig, aber 10 Jahre sind eher kurz gegriffen. Bis dahin ist ATO (automated train operation) wohl eher eine Abschreckung für junge Berufseinsteiger als die ultimative Lösung gegen Streiks und Fachkräftemangel.

RhB staff got a raise in pay this year. It took no strike, no canceled trains, no pissed off passengers. Just good talks between management and union, well knowing both sides want the best. Why is this not possible in Germany?

A special shape of the curb allows the driver to get close to it (even closer than here) without rubbing off the tyre. We call it "Kasseler Sonderbord" and it's to minimize the gap for wheelchair access.
