I hate that being covid cautious is such a heavy burden, and that it wouldn't be nearly as difficult if everyone (or at least the majority) took part.

It's been so tiring; slowly recovering from burnout and depression, dealing with an increased workload in the office (burning out again...), and continually fighting for a permanent remote work accommodation, all the while staying away from family and friends who have given up on any mitigations. But this is viewed as being my fault, that I'm doing this to myself because I want to be isolated for some reason, or that I've become increasingly paranoid over something that "isn't really dangerous anymore".

Do they really think I want to live like this? Do they really think I enjoy not seeing family and friends? Granted I wasn't very outgoing pre-covid, but I'd love to be able to go out without a mask, meet up with others and not be afraid of disability and death.

I didn't choose this life, it was thrust upon me by a society that is unwilling and/or unable to accept the terrifying truth that an airborne virus is ripping through their lives while they continue to catch and spread it over and over and over again.

Yesterday my brother and I were wandering through a very large antique store, and every minute or two we kept hearing this maybe 10 second bit of music, so we searched around and eventually found a booth with old arcade games. One of the games was one of those types where you can win a gumball, or other small prize, and it was playing the tune over and over. It reminded us of haunted circus music, so we got curious if it was part of a larger piece, and through the magic of the internet we were able to find that it was the intro to the song Playboy by David Lyme. When I got home I found this amazing video full of peak 80's nostalgia and easily one of my favorite synth keyboardist. David Lyme is Spanish and was one of the creators of the Sabadell style, which is an off-shoot of Italo-Disco. I still wonder how the intro of this song somehow became part of music in an arcade game in Missouri, but the damn thing is stuck on my head now.

Although I am not a neurologist, I think a lot about the of . I wrote a about my father's -onset 's with , .BruceMiller of 's . @CindyWeinstein When I lived in the West Indies as a young lad with my Grandparents there was a British chap and his wife Bunny. lives near us.

She had a mentality at that time of a child, wore diapers, sweet lady... just no one knew why it happened to people back then. Never forgotten them 👍

A baby weasel once paused long enough for me to get a photo of it. This was a few years ago now, but I still remember the thrill I got at seeing it. It disappeared quickly, hopefully finding its mother and siblings.
