Berlin police raided and cut off electricity to the Palestinian Congress conference before banning the three-day event. Organizers say Germany’s antidemocratic authoritarian response to Palestine activism is growing by the day.

How long will it be before these events are fully virtual, spread out worldwide using decentralised networks / software, should be harder to shut down.

So, now David Cameron is being touted as the person who can finally resolve the plight go Gibraltar having attended three way talks yesterday with EU & Spanish ministers.

Hold on, I hear you say, surely his idiocy in calling the Brexit referendum in the first place is the root cause of the problem?

So either he's now staring to clear up his own mess (OK, good to see, I suppose), or this is the same as the man who pushed you overboard claiming kudos for throwing you a lifebuoy...

This is surely why we need to teach history as it was, based on evidnece, regardless of how horrifc or bad it is. History is full of what we would now see as injustice.

This is being repeated right now in Gaza, we are seeing famine in Sudan and floods in Russia that are largely being unreported, There is also a terrible situation in Haiti

Surely we have lost our humanity for letting things happen again and again.

Adulthood has its pros and cons.

On the one hand, there comes a time when you see people bearing grudges against you, even after months of not interacting with them, and you don't feel bad, your core emotional reaction is to feel sorry for them, for suffering in the dungeon in their minds they have built and sentenced themselves to.

On the other hand, no one asks you what your favorite dinosaur is anymore. People don't care.

A few weeks ago there was a young woman on the bus, she was crying and clearly upset, clutching her phone. At one time, she would have been asked if she was OK. As men we are now to terrified to get involved, so I simply ignored her, perhaps she was really upset, wanted help, or it was an act to catch out unsuspecting MEN so she could make some sort of false alegation, who knows.

Is this the society people want or do they want a more caring society, where people can ask if you are OK because they actually care or are concerned.

Next time I see a person (esp female) in distress, I will ignore them.
