it's KITTEN SEASON! 😭😭😭 It's been a tsunami the past couple weeks. I still have a few older kittens looking for homes, and now I have this sweet mamacat and her four 4-week-old kittens we pulled from a full shelter, so I've added a few more age-appropriate things to the list this month. @trixter obviously I would love a kitten, but I know that I would hate dealing with the litter tray and I won't have an outdoor cat because I definitely don't want to be dealing with fleas or ticks etc.
I'm not bragging when I say this is one smart doggo. Shows up, and within the 1st 48 hrs, disables her biggest competition to my attention -- gnaws on my S6 tablet, cracks the glass and 12 hours latter it is a dead still corpse.

Having a puppy has interrupted my coffee habit. Okay, it's messed up all of my habits, some I didn't even know I had! I have some new ones though, all of them centred around, guess what!

If only I could wake-up with my tail wagging, tear around the house at top speed for 10 minutes and fall back into a peaceful slumber (and smell so good).

i'm an amiable, curious, and relatively quiet neurodivergent #cat thing that likes to tinker with stuff.
i've never really been an active participant on proper social media before, never had any accounts at any of the usual places, so this is new to me but i'm trying!
i'll be posting thoughts and maybe stuff about whatever i'm messing with at the time and potentially even do some replying and so on.
may my presence and practices be pleasant and helpful.

We bought a new cabinet that had a window so you could see it in the hardware store. Cat claimed it and almost two years later, they still sleep in it.
We affectionately call it the doghouse.
Also, other boxes the claimed as their own.
Meanwhile, the two-year old cat playground and scratching post is in showroom new condition.
Our girl cat loves the taped-up ramen noodle display box.
Last night I learned valerian attracts cats like catnip, and that my favorite mugs are just tall enough they can't steal the teabags out of them (does not stop them from almost knocking the mug off my desk trying).
