First floor in German has a special name and counting starts with 2nd, so I was curious what translation pages make out of 二階から目薬:
deepl is not translating literally, but by meaning
google-translate translates into German as "2. Stock", so circling into Japanese that would be 3rd floor/三階
Translating stays fun, despite (or because?) the attempts to do it in software.
@liztai I remember when I heard Korean coursemates speak Korean with each other and the part that I could immediately understand was ssi-bal because it sounds almost exactly like cibai and kinda means the same lol

I can read and make scentences in japanese provided I know the words and particle usage but it gets complicated for me once more than one subject or object or verb is used in a scentence...

Not only from the Japanese, to be exact, even from #Korean made software. I talked about last year how #Korea created its own Internet culture that not even #Google and #Microsoft can compete with. (See: #Naver's amazing interconnected platforms; what Google would have been if they had a vision.)
@youronlyone I don't think @lain (who is the creator and lead dev of #Pleroma) is Asian, he's German.
Though I think I remember reading somewhere that he has an Asian wife. Might be wildly wrong on that though, so take that with a huge grain of asin :koakuma_giggle:
