I've been trying to highlight Samsung's scummy business practices for a couple years now, but when they can't even make a support contract work with iFixit, it's a REAL bad look.

Personal data (and name or IMEI is exactly that) cannot be transferred at all by the mere wish of some Korean entity. European repair shops that follow this contractual obligation are in violation of law.
Even an EULA might not make this legal, because one can clearly repair a device without transmitting such data. And for personal data one has to show that the data transfer is actually necessary.
#Gaming on #Android is still a mess. This is not available for any of the devices I have. I own a Samsung Note phone (with a Qualcomm), a Samsung Tab (with Qualcomm), several Android devices which are 10+, like Motorola, some Anbernic devices that use a Rockchip and Unisoc... and none is supported?!???
I tried #RetroArch on the #ipad. The experience is not bad, especially using a Bluetooth controller. But still prefer how this works on #Android; much easier to deal with ROM files, and the screen on my Samsung (OLED) looks better.
About 10 years ago, before fitness trackers and smartwatches were a thing, there were apps that simply plotted the path that you traveled on a map (e.g. #Strava).
If you want to track an activity that involves moving around, such as walking, jogging, running or cycling there is an app on F-Droid called #OpenTracks. It tracks the distance, elevation and time for each activity. It can show the traveled path on an #OpenStreetMap app like #OrganicMaps and also plot graphs.

Yes, I got confirmation from the maintainer and other people using the latest releases about that the new A11 is heavier on that phone.
I might test the A12 and A13 tho, maybe those will get more stable by September 🤞

Dlaczego więc ludzie kupują telefony i komputery marki na A i w ramach "bezpieczeństwa" i "możliwości" są zobowiązani do korzystania tylko i wyłącznie z ich sklepu lub mają utrudnione korzystanie z akcesoriów które nie są produktem tej marki lub nie są przez nią "podpisane"?
Dlatego od ponad roku jabłka mam wyłącznie w lodówce a nie na biurku 😀
