Tochter wohnt jetzt bei ihrem Freund etwa 60km von daheim weg. Wenn sie mit unserem Account Netflix gucken will, dann geht das nicht mehr, weil sie ja nicht von unserem Standort aus guckt.
D.h. Netflix verarbeitet hier die Standortdaten um Zugriffe zuzulassen oder zu sperren. Ist das nach DSGVO zulässig?
Also dass irgendwer meine Geolocation mit meiner IP verknüpft ohne dass ich zugestimmt habe?

LG TV app has no language setting, just Japanese.
ST:SNW has subs, or dubs.
Subs are burn in, no way to remove.
Only S01
Low quality, no 4k, no DV.
Other content older.
So, worse than expected. I'll try again in a year I guess.

🇬🇧The #geoblocking of TV streams, media libraries and other digital content from other EU countries needs to be abolished! We #Pirates fight for free access to culture, even if the (non-leading) committee for legal affairs opined differently today.
I also think that #VPN providers should be required to disclose what their actual product is and that they can't and won't protect someone from the foreseeable consequences if they were to abuse their tech...
The only "legitimate purpose" they actually do I've seen is circumvention of #Geoblocking.
Anything else is either #FUD or just made-up lies and people would he better off using @torproject#TorBrowser instead.

The only valid reaction is to unilaterally reject any #LEA requests from the #UK per principle if not literally blocklist all their agencies from being able to eMail, call, fax or otherwise contact one if not #Geoblocking#UK visitors and forcibly redirecting them to an info page explaining why the service is taken down for them.
Despite Meta not launching Threads in the EU due to the app's privacy horrors, various well-known European organizations, etc. are already reportedly appearing on there, one presumes using any number of obvious workarounds to make it even easier for Meta to flush privacy down the toilet.
