A while back someone was questioning the idea that religion had more power over pre-Reformation European statecraft - and particularly law and courts - than did nations. An idea that seems weird to me, as it basically ignores what the Reformation was. Anyway, here's a history lecture giving some background on that period, focusing on the prefiguration of Ukraine;

I'm late to the party, but #TheMagnusArchives is one of the best #horror#fiction#podcasts (tbh, one of the best stories) I've listened to. I can't recommend it highly enough.
A few short weeks ago, some learned chaps were schooling me on all the reasons hydrogen isn't viable as an energy carrier for vehicles. They obviously forgot to communicate all this to the people actively developing hydrogen infrastructure in Aotearoa.
