Heading to in hopes that will finally win a game for me. I have to travel 500 miles RT to watch the Loons. I see about 3 games per season. Havent seen them win in person in three years. If they don't win today, my miles-to-win ratio drops to 5,000/0.

Seriously, ? When does this become more than a temporary weather pattern, and more of a change in climate? This is not what January and February are supposed to look like.

Today in Labor History November 25, 1946: St. Paul teachers, led mostly by women, walked out of their classrooms in American’s first organized teachers’ strike. 1,165 teachers and principals (all represented by the same union) remained out until Dec. 27 in what they called the “strike for better schools.” 90% of teachers voted to strike. Conditions were deplorable. Classrooms designed for 35 students often had 50. Teachers had to buy textbooks for students, yet they were among the lowest paid teachers in the nation.

Action Against Genocide Manufacturers in Mpls/Stp metro

"There are many corporations funding and supplying the genocide now. Instead of focusing on the almost total Minnesota governmental support of the genocide ... we want to single out those manufacturing in death and destruction: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, and General Dynamic"

The FCC pushed back the application window to Dec 6-13 to allow community groups more time to prepare applications for new, low-power, community radio stations.

When they first announced the opportunity -- a window that has not been open in a decade y'all -- the news was clearly huge, so now they are giving people six more weeks to prepare their applications.

As you know, KUZU shows one way LPFM can be a foundation to build valuable community information resources.

Please boost and share.

Holy hell. McCready blew the fucking lid off the place with this Black solo. It's amazing that he can still put that much heart & soul into a solo he's been playing for 30+ years. I'm nearly in tears just watching it at my desk, I would have lost my mind if I were there for it.
