A stone’s throw from one of the most famous places in #Madrid for churros with chocolate is this picturesque #bookstore. The San Ginés #BookShop is actually one of the oldest #bookshops in #Spain
It is situated in the scenic Pasadizo de San Ginés, between Calle Arenal and Calle Mayor, near the parish of the same name and Chocolatería de San Ginés
Its beginnings can be traced to the 17th century when #Diego_Logroño ⏩
Old and used #books are the store’s expertise. Unique and exceptional copies are blended with city guides and political references on the tables set up at a street level, which—combined with the fantastic opportunities at reasonable prices—make this book sanctuary a haven for both collectors and curious shoppers
#Librería_de_San_Ginés is open Monday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm. Closed on Sundays

A former #bookseller (15 years at one of the big US chains, laid off) and still a bookseller at heart, and a huge #book, #scifi, #fantasy, and #ttrpg enthusiast. I enjoy #JRPG games, the #Metroid series, and the souls series, and tend to enjoy #RetroGames more than most new releases.
