Sarah picked up a new tat, and Allie picked up an ADORABLE Spock with the black cat from “Assignment Earth”. Unfortunately we didn’t get a photo together, but we did chat with Randy James (Lt. Jones, background and stand-in; TNG, DS9, ST: First Contact). He was super chill and so much fun to talk with. Hopefully we can get him on the show in the future!
We love seeing photos of our members at festivals and conventions! Detroit Zine Fest looks amazing and we're assuming @danaamundsen had an equally amazing time earlier this month.
Charmed de retour le temps d'une convention. Petit choc en voyant Holly Marie Combs, Shannen Doherty et Rose McGowan. Pas tant à cause de leur apparence physique (et oui, même les actrices vieillissent et c'est normal, il n'y a qu'en France que Catherine Deneuve a toujours 60 ans) que face au temps qui passe, 20 ans dans les dents, et aux épreuves qu'elles ont traversé: les VSS pour McGowan, la maladie pour Doherty. Northeast ComicCon overall was pretty fun. Another smaller con (though with a rather big exhibitor's hall for a smaller con). And a lot more emphasis on general pop culture than most cons I go to (not that that stopped me from being anime characters all weekend :ElainaEvil: ). I think the crowd was a combination of older nerds and kids, which was cute (so many cute events for kids :blobfoxcute:).

The idol showcase at Northeast ComicCon yesterday was a lot of fun! :AquaYeah: There were a lot of amazing performances! And I think my own performance went pretty well. :mexcitedmiku: (I may have gotten a few more people to watch Macross too. :akko_giggle: )
