Danger Doom released their first album, “The Mouse and the Mask”
Danger Doom was a collaboration between the hip hop artists Danger Mouse and MF Doom. Amazing artists who each already had careers as writers, producers, and performers.
This is a concept album composed almost entirely of raps by MF Doom, performed over beats created by Danger Mouse sampling music from various shows airing on Adult Swim (how I first learned about the album).
The whole thing is great, if you like modern underground hip hop, clever lyrics, and fat beats that integrate silly characters from comedy shows like Aqua Teen Hunger Force and Space Ghost.
I recently had a post #lifted , not reposted or boosted or whatever. I wasn't offended or felt violated (sure it was a little weird). Being one who often struggles with depression, it never dawned on me to just... oh I don't know... just claim someone's thoughts as my own? Then I thought, this guy must really be bad off if he can't come up with his own thoughts about #nerdcore#journals and a #fountainpen.
