In meiner 1 L Edelstahlflasche ist oft Tee, heiß im Winter (aber zu kurz), kalt im Sommer (s.o.).
Darum hab ich eine innere Isolierung aus einem eingelaufenen Wollpulli gemacht und eine äußere aus kaputter, zu kleiner Juniorjeans gemacht.

Friend and I had a conversation earlier about thrift/2nd hand stores and how ridiculous the pricing is in Finland and Sweden.
Most of the better quality clothes cost almost the same as new same one.
I would really want to buy my clothes in 2nd hand more often but there is no point for me to pay near full price on item I can get as new :/

Wanted to use up the small pieces of this floral chintz and the front bodice piece of a mock-up and thus whipped up most of this somewhat large 18th century pocket. It's missing a waistband tape which I apparently don't have in my stash! Cat hindquarters for scale.
And now my washing machine is also making a weird and incredibly distracting noise when it runs. I would presume that piece of tech is not long for this world, either.
The EU Right to Repair law would be very nice, even a watered down version of it, but it deeply angers me that it won't help with any of the intentionally shoddily built things currently in the world. Fuck capitalism

Ich hab von meinem löslichen Kaffee (jaja, der böse Douwe Egberts) so schöne Gläser, die benutze ich auch gern.
Überhaupt werden Gläser ganz oft nicht weggeworfen, da sind Tee, Gummis oder Gewürze drin.
Habt ihr auch so einen Fimmel?
Vielleicht ein paar Inspirationen, was man noch Schönes wiederverwenden kann?

Machen wir auch. Unser Müsli, Mehl usw. ist in großen Gläsern von Pepperoni, die Gewürze haben wir in Honiggläsern (gut stapelbar)... Das ist ja alles viel zu schade, um es wegzuwerfen. Die Gewürzsammlung werde ich demnächst auf Pesto-Gläser umstellen, weil platzsparender.

Found this grubby metal chair in our shed (the previous homeowner kindly left us everything they owned). Spent a couple of days painting it & fashioned a new seat (from a plank of wood, a pillow insert & a tea towel). And now she looks quite pretty! #upcycling#makeover#HomeDecor
Unglaublich, was sich auf einem Dachboden im Laufe von 30 Jahren ansammelt. Man hebt ja vieles auf, um es vlt. irgendwann doch noch zu brauchen.
Was sich nun rächt, weil wir nun eine Deckenisolierung anbringen. Und dazu wollen wir uns von vielem trennen, denn wohin mit dem Zeug, wenn der Boden möglichst frei sein soll?
Einiges bringen wir zum Flohmarkt, anderes einem Verein für #Upcycling, die den Erlös vom Verkauf ihrer Produkte spenden.
Ja, weniger kaufen - das wird die Lösung der Zukunft!
