Wie die Politiker plötzlich bemerken, dass die Stimmung im Lande etwas aggressiv geworden ist, jetzt da sie selber betroffen sind.

Leider können wir weder sinnvolle Lösungen außer höheren Strafen erwarten. Noch darauf hoffen, dass auch wir die Bevölkerung besser geschützt werden.

Und erst recht nicht, dass sich strukturell etwas ändert, um den Menschen mehr Freiraum zu geben, damit alles etwas entspannter wird.

Pretty sure this is a European hornet (Vespa crabro).

At this time of the year, it should be a queen, searching for food for the larvae.

I caught her, after being trapped in my room for a couple of minutes. She couldn't find a way out and always wanted to leave through the ceiling. When she sat down for a couple of seconds, I cautiously trapped her inside a glass.

Photo is not good, because I wanted to hurry up to release her outside.

Hab in der WirtschaftsWoche ein Interview über die "Teilzeitrepublik" gelesen.

Wow, was mich komplett verstört ist, dass die Journalistin (stellv. Leiterin Politik) nicht vor Lachen das Interview abgebrochen hat, weil man so etwas den Leser*innen gar nicht zumuten kann.

Null. Nullkommanix. Nix aber auch wirklich gar nichts hat er verstanden. Wo war der die letzten zwanzig Jahre?

But this will not be done by revenge. Revenge only leads to more suffering of those, who already suffer the most.

The hatred needs to be stopped. The call for revenge because of dead children.

This conflict will not stop as long as the bodies of dead children get dragged around for photos. And people share and spread those.

Die zentralen Aussagen des Films wurden also per Gericht verboten. Ohne diese [edit: falschen] unbewiesenen Aussagen funktioniert die Rufschädigung nicht.

Upgraded to #KDE6.

Some widgets do not work anymore (thermal monitor & an older weather widget). That was expected.

Some settings were reset.
Took me a while until I figured out, that I had 'Breeze dark' for all design styles but the colors in 'Breeze classic'.
I deactivated shadows again but need to find some more animations.
Fixed a thin line around windows by changing the Breeze window decorations.

I expected much more hiccups.

I am building a prototype of a sign training app to learn #FrenchSignLanguage. My biggest problem is finding a suitable name. Most of the catchy ones are already used. So I decided now to use the name of a cuddly toy as an acronym. LISA or LiSA

Any other suggestions?

(The app could be used for other languages, too.)

It may be a good idea to split my next software project from my personal page, where I express thoughts, people may not like or understand differently from what I intended.

In 2022, I thought about joining @fosstodon, but I did not want to write english only.

Is #fosstodon a place for open source software projects, too?
Or is it more for developers behind projects?

I would use it as a place to document decision making processes and ask for opinions. Matrix is not very good for this, I think.

It was not #Twitter, it is not #Mastodon. Social media in general is not working for me.

People take everything personally and stop reading after the first paragraph. I am fed up with those stupid fucks.

In February is the best moment to begin, what defines huge parts of the work, you are personally interested in, for this year.

The New Year resolutions are ignored and forgotten. But that is not the problem of Februaries prospects!

Enough time until summer to have a working prototype or know the basics of a topic. Then it's time to enjoy the weather.

... and sure, it was the wrong container format, not working with Mastodon so I had to recode it, because I already closed the art session.

Too many hard coded variables to publish the code yet. But it doesn't look messy at all / very much.

Added #MIDI inputs.

A right-click on the label(!) of a value opens a context menu to bind a MIDI channel to this variable.

At the moment, only a couple of variables of mandala nodes are ready (e.g. fold, size, speed). But the rest will follow soon.

There are different modes for absolute knobs and for rotary encoders.

Try it out and give feedback, if you own any MIDI device with knobs.

Bei den #Bauernproteste n (Warum gehen breitenlose Leerzeichen nicht mehr?) sind mehrere Protestierende angefahren worden.

Irgendwie witzig, dass ihre eigene Verblödung und Aggressivität ihnen jetzt selbst entgegenschlägt. Wer Wind sät, wird von ungeduldigen Vollpfosten plattgefahren.

Eigentlich liest man trotz der ganzen Hetze sogar recht selten, dass Leute von der Letzten Generation angefahren werden. Die scheinen sich also generell weitaus geschickter und überlegter zu verhalten.
