We celebrate Buy Nothing Day tomorrow (in Germany and some other countries in Europe). I don't know why it's a day later than in the US, but is has become a tradition somehow.

Frankly I’m baffled that politicians keep asking for my money when they’ve got billionaires buying them expensive vacations & luxury homes. You want me to support your candidacy, give ME some of YOUR money.
@Binder I'm not saying we should compile a database of the telephone numbers of elected officials and bombard them with a text and call campaign on behalf of individual voters asking for money.
But what I am saying is you could do that pretty easily and cheaply using Twilio
@Binder I bought a half dozen cheap reader glasses, and a half dozen cheap glasses, so I can always have a pair nearby. I still manage to not have a pair nearby, however.
