At least 100,000 said to protest to stop the #GazaGenocide in #London right now. This crowd looks MUCH bigger than the two previous marches that were estimated at 100,000 by the MetPol. This is organic, and it is growing with every day of #IsraeliGovernment atrocity in #Gaza.

Funny isn't it, that people still pay good money for a cruise, because cruise once conjured notions of luxurious privilege, adventure and high culture, completely overlooking the fact that it now means a cell in a vast floating tenement block, the worst company imaginable and a good chance of noravirus or #COVID, only to leave a vast wake of pollution and environmental destruction behind them

Suella #Braverman just made a statement after a COBRA meeting and described the marches this weekend calling for a ceasefire as 'Hate Marches'

She generalised that description to all 500,000 people on those marches

So, peace is hate

Woah! I just took the coolest picture ever! 🌠

Popped out to the garden when I read someone's toot about the Northern Lights being visible in Northern Britain. Couldn't see them with naked eye, but long exposure, taken over town, above the hills in the north, showed the green glow...then a plane flew across the Big Dipper 😊

If people had a better appreciation for the depth and value of the cultures their armies destroy, and understood the humanity, diversity, traditions and complexity, built over centuries and millenia, by ordinary people living in them, their sense of shared loss at seeing them laid waste would move them to do anything to stop the destruction

What makes a cold-blooded murderer? That detachment from the humanity of others. And most 'civilised' people seem very good at maintaining it
