Considering asking for a shift to part-time working. I want more time for family, relationships, hobbies, fitness, creative projects, learning. @Fitnessfoundry Have been helping my parents get into resistance training recently. My dad is deadlifting 100kg tomorrow and can squat almost as deep as me. My mum, who is dealing with ongoing effects of multiple injuries, hit her goal of being able to get up off the floor unaided. Kind of amazed at how quickly it's improved their lives.

Believe it or not, before I got fat and had kids I qualified as a fitness instructor. Been taking my mum and dad to the gym recently, and they're doing so well. My dad can now deadlift over his bodyweight for two sets of five. My mum is working with multiple long-term injuries and getting a lot of movement and functionality back. Strength training is SO beneficial for older adults.
