Look, we tried trickle-down economics for forty years. It simply didn’t work. The national debt exploded and nothing trickled-down, so now we move on.

Stimulating the economy from the bottom up is clearly more effective. A rising tide should life all boats, not just yachts.

Growing up Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher told us that capitalism went hand in hand with freedom and democracy.

There were two coup attempts:

(1) a Presidential coup that has not (yet) succeeded, but had a flashpoint with the insurrection of January 6, 2021.

(2) a Judicial coup in which Mitch McConnell denied President Obama a Supreme Court appointment. then rushed Justice Barrett onto the bench. That coup succeeded.

Don't give up. We need to show the same courage the abolitionists, suffragettes, and civil rights activists had then, to save our democracy now.

A corrupt Supreme Court far-right majority, which accepts undisclosed gifts, and operates under conflicts of interest without a code of ethics, and that was appointed by Presidents who lost the popular vote, is even using fabricated cases to strip away civil rights and social justice achieved over the last several decades.

Let's be very clear. It's not the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to ban Donald Trump from the ballot that "breaks precedence". It was Donald Trump's attempted coup that broke precedence. We don't have to "both sides" this to make MAGA Republicans feel better.

They should be grateful they have a chance of getting a Republican nominee who won't be in prison on Election Day.

This border drama is wholly a Texas MAGA Republican distraction for them to scare racists into voting for them so that they can pass unnecessary tax cuts for billionaires. Go down the road a few miles and the border gates will be wide open so that Texas Republicans can get cheap exploitable labor under-the-table.

The only way journalists should be covering Donald Trump is as a criminal defendant who has been indicted 91 times for attempting a coup and stealing our nation's top national security documents. That's it.
