@Edent I mentioned this to @evan previously, and I think it's an interesting idea; it may benefit from some spec extensions depending on what the things are transmitting.
Re: the Twitter version of this, I was involved in the UK environment agency implementation; large-scale creation of accounts was always a tricky thing to handle to avoid misuse.
Inspired by the article written by @Edent on the Fediverse of Things (#iot, #wot), I experimented with using an LLM to interpret home automation requests that could be sent using #ActivityPub and convert them to JSON device commands.
