@nivenly I understand a lot of folks are likely confused, and are wondering why?
I made the decision a few hours ago.
The main reason for this is to hand the server off to the collective to manage instead of me. There is an entire moderation team, and an infrastructure team in charge now and have been in place for months.
I have never represented the thoughts and opinions of the users, however the "Admin" title seems to carry a connotation with it. I want to remove that link.
@nova@nivenly I am often annoyed at declarations of opinion offered without a hint of how the poster arrived at their conclusion. Moreso when the response to my request for clarification is perceived as an attack on their conclusion. I find myself returning to my belief that sound mental health is not as widespread as we would wish it to be.
@aphistic Thank you for the illustration. I don't think dialogue is transactional either, and I don't see what in my post makes you believe I think I'm owed anything. I described my preferences. I demanded nothing.

@pauliehedron well, no, it's only "drama and speculation" because there's no firsthand information except on the video, which we cannot access, which does not really give us very good feelings about the continued governance of the thing (:

@whereami@RealGene@nivenly@ummjackson If you're unhappy with the information she's provided, then I don't know what to tell you. I posted the link with the information, and it's up to each person to decide how they want to process that information.
Personally, I don't think any of us have a right to any information she doesn't want to provide.
