Looking at the house plots (which are about 150 ft wide), they incline about 15 degrees in the span of 10 houses. This gives a radius of 5730 ft (1.09 mi).
That means the circumference is 36k ft (6.8 miles), which you could bike comfortably in less than an hour (especially since there are no hills).
However to get 1 g (32 ft/s²), the station would have to rotate at 0.71 rpm, so you'd see <40 sunrises and sunsets on your circumnavigation.
@MisterMadge@moorejh@nyrath The Stanford torus design had the torus spin with the Sun in the plane of the torus and sunlight reflected in by mirrors, providing constant illumination.
This is where you'll spend a very long night. On Mars.
This game will be available in a couple of hours on Steam and PS5. My review is coming soon. #scifi#game#conceptart

He was 47, she was 19. He didn't have money, wasn't famous or powerful, and certainly didn't know any of her generation’s songs, so as per Occam's Razor, the simplest explanation is preferable to one that is more complex. She was a spy; he could read it all over her. She’d been sent to allure him and get access to his archeological research – lots of money in the antiquities he discovered. Treachery, seduction and deceit never go out of style, but their practitioners often die young.

Sane folk used hardware or an interface, her mind was faster hardwired, yup, raw-dogging an unknown mainframe; risky. From her uplink she could hear the coms. Right up until she didn't. Last thing was "Grab her, go!" The uplink broke, oh shit! Soaring vacuously as electrons she held a visualization, sanity.
"I remember"
"It's been a week for us, but at your speed, a lifetime" He looked at the old mech. "Crack it's core, be released"
Hellrazor woke gasping.
"I got the codes; the score"
When the greatest inventor on Earth disappears, it’s up to his disaster-prone son and his Frankenstein daughter to save the world… then accidentally destroy it… then save it again.
Highlights queer and women's voices in the often male-dominated realm of scifi.
