Having beaten Windows .BAT files and FTP into submission on one laptop (thanks #WinSCP) while getting my #TauriV2 app to build for #Android on another, today I will be figuring out how to debug it with #AndroidStudio.
It almost works. I can call #RustLang from the #Svelte GUI, but my custom protocol handlers aren't being called. 🤔 #Tauri
One of the features I love in XCode is the sticky lines showing the class/method you've scrolled down in.
I love it so much I'm desperate to also have it in Android Studio, turns out it's coming in the next version! (Koala 2024.1.1)
Guess who's now using the canary release 😄
It seems crazy to me that it doesn't work by default when basically all projects at least have a readme.md file and the plugin works perfectly in intellij.
After having used the new UI in #AndroidStudio for some time, it’s nice. They fixed some annoyances, reduced the visual noise, feels tighter and better.
Hey all you #Kotlin (and #JVM) experts. Is there a a makro I can use to raise a compile-time warning which is then shown in #AndroidStudio / #IntelliJIDEA ?
Ox suggested me to try to ask here .. Is an #native#cpp#Quest#developer that successfully managed to install the #sdk#OpenXR and manage to compile/run the samples in #Windows with #AndroidStudio OR develop on Quest using #VisualStudio ? I once manage to compile Quest stuff using VS Android Extensions BUT I was never able to run it on Quest/launch the debugger that way. So before I start N weeks of tears & wears & despair as by suggestion I am asking "if anyone knows how". Thanks.
Four days ago, I had another argument with #Windows11 and swapped to @fedora workstation for #AndroidDev . Been so productive, everything just flows, no hiccups. #AndroidStudio behaving perfectly. The same hardware is so much faster too!
Easy-peasy #android emulator setup without using Genymotion or Android Studio + installation of custom certificates inside the system #certificate store of an Android 10 device.
