This is Kelly. He’s an 8 week old kitten from a local feral colony. I saw him get hit by a truck towing a boat. When he got up from that and ran the rest of the way across the street I helped the woman who was chasing him to catch him. She’s allergic to cats and I’m not. So I’m now responsible for him. The sun is shining here again this morning, so they will be out playing, & 'helping' us to dig holes for plants.
Laurie had been nibbling on 'his' catnip plant when the need for a little nap came upon him. He doesn't fit in the flowerpot with the plant, so he just rested his head on the plant & pot while he dozed a little.
This catnip plant is Nepeta Cats Pajamas. Laurie loves it. I hope he doesn't totally demolish it. Meggie is (so far) less impressed. She likes her catnip dried and in toys for her to play with.
