Nachdem Ich mich mit @Cloudplay durch #Gears Judgment geballert habe, geht es nun, auf @Cloudplay, weiter mit #GearsOfWar in der Ultimate Edition. Part 1 startet "gemütlich", ab Part 2 wird zwei Gänge hoch geschalten (max Schwierigkeitsgrad), viel Spaß

MATHilde a acheté dans une brocante un système d'engrenages formé de 4 roues. La roue de gauche (bleue) ne tourne que dans le sens de la flèche, entraînant alors les 3 autres roues.
Figure 2, partie supérieure : pour repérer la position initiale, MATHilde a collé des étiquettes avec les 4 premières lettres de son prénom (MATH) sur une dent de chaque roue.
Figure 2, partie inférieure : elle montre l'engrenage après que Mathilde a fait tourner la roue de gauche d'un tour.
Question : à partir de la position initiale, de combien de tours MATHilde doit-elle faire tourner la roue de gauche pour que l'ensemble revient à la position initiale ?

So, I applied this gear design to a #3DPrint dial with a pressure-fit cap and two 3D printed clips. This allowed the #motor to drive the needle on the other side through the #gears.
The gears are a 3:1 ratio, and they're double-stacked, so that's 3^2 or 3*3 or 27x. That brings our 7.5 degree/100 fps margin of error down to 0.3 degree/3.5 fps, which is perfectly acceptable.
