If the #Halo live action series had started with Episode 7 of Season 2, it would have been about 1000% times better. An actual mega-structure! A horrific threat! Fleet battles! Master Chief in his damn armor!
Watching the #Halo season 2 finale. I nearly screamed when the Flood liet motif played. OMG, finally this show uses the themes correctly!
The infection forms are SO MENACING, they nailed it.
This episode is fantastic, finally something remotely approaching what Halo actually is. Why did it take two seasons to get here? There's a LOT that I think were unnecessary changes (why don't the spartans have shields?), but mostly this has been pretty solid.
Pre-orders for Halo: Flashpoint are up and we get to see what the game looks like and info on how it will play. It's taking a lot from Deadzone which is a cool rule set but I never much liked the minis, so this is perfect. I will be designing so much terrain and bases for this!
I just finished watching the season 2 finale of Halo on Paramount Plus & the show did not disappoint! Unless you are a hardcore fan of the video games (if so, you will be disappointed by the “timeline” of certain events), the second season was thoroughly enjoyable & I hope Paramount considers a third season soon.
I will not post any spoilers, but let’s say the central theme of the finale was sacrifice & honor, which made this worth the wait.
Sadly, I do not know of any decent, live-action science fiction shows that are available to see (outside of Netflix of course), but I am a little sad that this season only featured eight episodes (I wanted ten!).
Yey! I can finally watch the latest season of #Halo tomorrow! Last episode is coming out. Hope they've stuck to the games a little more, him taking his helmet off kind of ruined the show for me.
I might be easily amused, but I sure do like #Halo, the TV show. The way the writers have retrofit a pretty compelling storyline ontop of the admittedly entertaining, but rather campy video game is impressive to me.
The covenant priesthood is a bit iffy, but I've seen way worse sci-fi stories that this, that's for sure.
