As Greg Olear notes, Vanessa Friedman in New York Times wants to tell us that Ivanka Trump's role in the Trump White House drama was to be "the rational actor" talking restraint to her crazed, cruel father.
I read this, and I wonder if, when she wrote those words, Friedman knew that Ivanka and her husband took in $640 million while Trump was in the White House, per a Citizens for Ethics report?
#TrumpLawyer, #AlinaHabba, made a complete fool of herself in court this week while #IvankaTrump was on the stand. Habba tried to object to the contents of an email from Ivanka, the prosecution then had to point out that it was from a batch of documents that Habba and her team introduced. :skp904: :bl46: 😂
The NYAG prosecutors used Ivanka's testimony to show a devastating series of documents against the Trump Org, where Trump lied about his net worth.

The judge overseeing the $250 million civil trial against Donald Trump and his company ordered the former president's daughter Ivanka Trump to testify in the case.
@GottaLaff "Ms. Trump . . . does not seem to be averse to her involvement in the family business when it comes to owning and collecting proceeds from the OPO (hotel) sale, the #TrumpOrganization purchasing insurance for her and her companies, managing her household staff and credit card bills, renting her apartment or even paying her legal fees in this action. It is only when she is tasked with answering for that involvement that she disclaims any connection." 🔥🔥🔥 #IvankaTrump
#LetitiaJames is using former first daughter #Ivanka#Trump's credit card bills as evidence that she can be compelled to testify in her father and brothers' civil fraud trial
Trump continued to #attack#James, #Engoron & the trial itself in posts to his social media platform this morning.
He again suggested that the trial is an attempt to interfere w/ his presidential campaign & complained about the lack of a jury in the trial.
(It is long established that either are issues)
Trump won’t be in court today. He had no legal obligation to attend, & left yesterday, noticeably angry.
A judge has ruled that #Trump committed fraud for years while building the real estate empire that catapulted him to fame and the White House.
Judge Engoron, ruling Tuesday in a civil lawsuit brought by #NewYork’s attorney general, found that the former president and his company deceived banks, insurers and others by massively overvaluing his assets and exaggerating his net worth on paperwork used in making deals and securing financing. #legal 1/...
>Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) told House Republicans at the IRS whistleblower hearing that if they are interested in following evidence, they should investigate Ivanka Trump for felony fraud.
