@__jz@LemmyDev the Play Store version is broken for me too, crashes if I try to login to a Lemmy 0.19 instance.
But I do see newer changes for 0.19 in the newer versions above 0.0.50 in the git repo. So just a matter of time before those make it into Play Store. Or you can grab the git version at https://github.com/dessalines/jerboa/releases ... if you're OK with a manual install.
Jerboa is currently incompatible with the latest beta of #Lemmy 0.19 and completely crashes trying to login to any instance. This happened with some earlier Lemmy upgrades too.
No biggie, a #Jerboa update will be along in due time.
as it turns out, it was lemmy.ca that updated because of a security issue, and all users were logged out. That info was in the post pinned to the top of lemmy.ca.
#jerboa was showing a bit of user account weirdness, but I could still see my profile info, so I thought I was still logged in.
After explicitly logging out and back into Jerboa, things are looking good again.
#Jerboa is buggy as shit. Just updated from a version that repeatedly crashed to a version that won't show anything but local groups. And #Lemmur hasn't updated in 10 months. Is there a usable open source #Android client? Otherwise I guess I'll give #Lemmy another shot if and when Jerboa works out the kinks.
rip, new #Jerboa for #Lemmy update and it immediately crashes the app. My #Reddit usage has dropped dramatically. It'll probably drop to near zero when the API change hits and I can't use my apps.
Just wish Lemmy was in a more mature state when the exodus hit. Then again, I hoped the same for Mastodon.
I trust that these platforms have the long-term for their advantage. The idea of the #fedi is more mainstream, and development won't suddenly stop like a company can shut down overnight.
#Jerboa 0.0.36 update came along a couple days ago, and now seems unable to display anything other than "All" + "Active". Trying to set "Subscribed" + "New" etc just reverts to All+Active.
So back to the lemmy.ca web UI, which improved quite a bit with 0.0.18.
Seit dem Update von #jerboa auf 0.35 meldet es, es hätte gerne ein Minimum an Serverversion von 0.18. Da sind wir laut des githubs von #lemmy aber noch gar nicht.
