John Oliver's Last Week Tonight just made a 5min-long fake episode of Thomas the Tank Engine, featuring hilarious narration by Matt Berry! (Mr Reynolds, The IT Crowd, Channel 4)

My telecom vendor gifted me tickets to see #JohnOliver live at #FoxTheater in #Detroit. So I am on interstate 94 eastbound, in a very mild rain. #today
Someone on the fediverse said the John Oliver segment on Musk was meh. I don't watch his show or even most segments but decided to give it a whirl. At some point early in Oliver says something to the effect of, "There are people who absolutely love Musk and there are people who absolutely hate him. This is probably going to piss off both of them." Being someone who at this point complete visceral contempt for the man, more than anyone I know, but thinking I arrived at it honestly (who doesn't think they arrive at their opinions honestly), I watched on. At this point I know every nook and cranny of the reality of Musk, the perceptions of Musk, and everything in between so nothing presented was novel. Honestly, I thought the segment did a solid job of distilling the whole debacle that is Elon Musk into a an entertaining yet informative 15 minute piece that hits all the broadstrokes. I thought that so much so I'm sharing it. #ElonMusk#JohnOliver#BillionairesShouldNotExist Elon Musk: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO)
Good show from John Oliver about Elon Musk - appreciating some aspects of what he has done, but asking a lot of really good questions - https://youtu.be/Eo3zORUGCbM?si=ahADi6omabfj1NsE (NSFW / profanity warning if you have not watched John Oliver before)
