Here is another picture from tonight's road trip to photograph comet Pons-Brooks. Bit of a challenge actually. 1-hour drive, 2 telescopes to set up, and the bloody comet would just be 2 degrees high an hour after sunset. But there was nothing on TV so why not. #Comet#Astronomy#NewZealand
And now, just for fun, here's an image of the hills around Otago Harbour taken with a full spectrum camera using a blue filter. #DunedinNZ#landscape#NewZealand#sunrise
And here's the white light version of the panorama just after sunrise during the "golden hour". The hills embracing the harbour looked mighty fine this morning I can tell you! #NewZealand#sunrise#newzealand
On my morning commute today the light was absolutely fantastic. Luckily i had several cameras to hand to record the event in multple wavelengths. Here's an IR view across Otago Harbour #morningcommute#landscape#NewZealand#panorama
So it’s the 112th anniversary of Titanic sinking. As lights are turned off in Museums across Aotearoa let’s remember history is important. Let’s not sink our Museums..: #museums#newzealand
It's that time of the year 😋 Time for fresh hop beers.
Sprig & Fern's Monohoppily Fresh Hop Hazy singles out just one variety – fresh #Riwaka, hand-selected from Holmdale Farm in Wakefield and Mac Hops in Motueka.
😋 Lots of citrus, hoppy, bread/doughy and some bitterness + sweetness. Almost like marmalade on toast.
"A Long COVID registry, established in July last year, showed that most sufferers were in the mid-40s age bracket, often needing to work while looking after households. Most were healthy before COVID."
"According to the New Zealand researchers, there are more than 200 individual symptoms linked to Long COVID, with the dominant ones being fatigue and brain fog. While some are mild and transient, other effects can be life-altering, including heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome and a range of neurological effects."
36 years in, this is the first time I have written with a Fountain Pen. My high school literature teacher would be impressed. By me using it, not because of my handwriting.
For hand writing, I can suggest materials from the #Australia , or #NewZealand school system. In the English speaking world they have the best methods.
You can search for "handwriting repair" for quick tips or "italic handwriting" for details on the Renaissance style used by folks who wrote for a living.
