Railroad between Nijmegen (NL) and Cleve (Kleve, GER) opened on August 8th 1865. This statue in Nijmegen is there to remember this event.

There is a new Japanese store in #Nijmegen on the Houtstraat, called Seikatsu ( https://www.seikatsu.nl/ ). @MarleenChocoladeteen told me it had opened, and we were in the city centre today so we went to check it out.
They have a nice selection of ceramics and cooking tools, but also snacks (including various types of packaged mochi) and Japanese ingredients. We got a 2.1 kg bottle of Okonomi sauce(!!!) and I bought a nice dish. 1/

Here a bucket of #grapes from my #garden. The vine plant was probably planted 40 years ago when the houses were built because every house has one (or had one).
I have lead my vine about 25 meters along a wall so many many grapes from one vine plant. Alas the #wine is very sour, but it's a hobby so who cares. #WhineMaking is fun
