Really interested in the new #Tuxedo#Sirius Gen-2 laptop with both #AMD cpu & gpu, cause i'm fed up with the still truly horrible power-management of #NVIDIA gpu's on #linux.
Anyone know of reviews of it, apart from the 1 by #thelinuxexperiment?
Also, the Gen-1 was only available for a few months, which seems weird? and the only difference looks the cpu, changed from Ryzen 7 7840HS to 8845HS, which doenst make much difference. Anyone know what happened there? @tuxedocomputers

throws me back to when i first got to using #linux as a daily driver propper daily driver. Where after a brief wrestle with #Suse, I settled on #Ubuntu 10.04 and many versions after that. Last few years being happy on #Manjaro with #KDE Plasma.
@ErikJonker Moving from whatsap to signal is a good step. Moving to Element (Matrix protocol) an even better one. Because:
Signal is still US-based so similarly conflicted wrt eu-us diclosure- an privacylaws. Element/Matrix is EU based.

after applying latest updates, all games will will crash on startup. Both native and #Proton
Seeing this on 2 different systems (1 AMD and 1 Nvidia) #Deck seems unaffected though.
@williamconna hi, thanks for commenting! But that sounds like a pretty brute-force approach, deleting my entire home folder.. Can you point to some known bugreport with that solution?
I am seeing this happen as of today in 2 different #steam accounts on different devices, so it doesnt sound like just a personal issue.
Just that both are running #Manjaro Linux
@williamconna Right, i did realize that 😄! But still. Even though i've got all my games synced to steam cloud, that will mean deleting all my steam data and a lot of configs. Am a bit hesitant to do that just yet
