I am not sure this works as a metric, or a graphic, #octopus. Not in my case. My average usage is carefully set to be at most zero as it is a peak period. My saver session usage is many kW below that… I managed to find a day that I apparently had 0.01kWh usage in the slot, meaning an average way lower, so I have cut down by easily 100000000% on that, I expect. Actually, I have the data, I could work it out. I wonder if they will get a divide by zero error at some point?
Took a chance on #Octopus#agile again and switched from Go last week. So far it's working well and we've reduced our average £/kWh from £0.24 to £0.19. Cross fingers the rates stay low for a while.
The Octopus and the Evolution of Intelligent Life"
Although mammals and birds are widely regarded as the smartest creatures on earth, it has lately become clear that a very distant branch of the tree of life has also sprouted higher intelligence: the cephalopods, consisting of the squid, the cuttlefish, and above all the octopus.
My electricity bill for last month: Import costs ~£50, export credits ~£90. Overall credit for April: £40 (including standing charges and running an electric car).
This is thanks to Solar PV, a House Battery and a flexible tariff from #Octopus (Intelligent Go) - all orchestrated with #HomeAssistant
Capital cost was high but well worth it 👍 #solar#solarpower#battery#solarpv#lowcarbon
Both #nozzle (#extruder)) #heater and #hotbed one do not warm up. Beyond all doubt (using external power sources and hairdryer) I confirmed that both thermistors, heaters and wiring are ok.
Under warranty, RatRig sent me replacement board, which I configured, flashed with updated firmware and got the same error.
I also tried to redirect the nozzle heater power to another pin (see in the config file at lib.tepewu.pl/f/8f1d29fe05d44c…) where I hooked up the multimeter. Nothing happened, when I set up nozzle temp to 50*C - after timeout I had the same error "extruder is not heating fast enough", thus klipper shutdown.
I cannot believe to have such a bad luck to got two boards with the same hardware fault (especially that steppers and hotbed probe work perfectly), so it is something I do not know - and I run out of ideas.
