Almost done animating this project. Here's a quick clip of a truck picking up some raw data from a wind turbine! 😎

I'm pretty happy with how all of this is coming together, but especially happy with some of the smaller things, like how the grass turned out.

Rendered in Blender 3.6.5 with Eevee.

A looping 3D animation of a truck picking up a representation of a data block from a wind turbine. The truck pulls up to the turbine, the camera zooms into a nearby screen and pad, and a glowing blue block materializes on the pad. The block then moves into the truck, and the truck drives off. Wispy lines of wind pass overhead, and the wind turbine rotates lazily.

Rectified Icosahedral Honeycomb.

This has a prismatic vertex-figure, I implemented it by using the original Icoshedral Honeycomb's vertex-figure.

Dodecahedra and Icosidodecahedra. Rectification means cutting off the vertices up to the edge-middles.

I blew the dust off this model and threw it into Blender 4 for some turntable renders. I liked the original light purple backdrop, but it looks pretty good on red, in my opinion!

Here's an animation of a small green sport utility truck traversing the turning, ever-changing Rubik's cube street scene.

This is probably the final full animation I'm doing with this scene. I've enjoyed this series a lot!

A small green utility truck drives over the surface of a Rubik's cube street scene. The cube spins to follow the truck, and segments of the cube shift ahead to make sure the truck has a road to drive on. The scene transitions from day to night and back again as the video loop plays.

I went ahead and animated this thing!

Animation is not something I've ever formally trained in, but I enjoy doing it. I just tend to get really caught up in the details of the curves, making sure everything looks just right. 😅

Created across many versions of Blender, but touched up and rendered in Blender 4.0, with Cycles. AgX is pretty nice!

A 3D render of a Piranha Plant idly resting in a clay pot. The plant has a large, red spotted, bulbous head with a gaping mouth, teeth, and a long pink tongue. Its mouth has strands of sticky spit bridging the top and bottom, and the tongue dribbles spit as it sits there. The clay pot is dirty and broken, and there are small mounds of soil on the floor nearby.
