💡 The cheaper #Zigbee bulbs from #Sengled are nice… unless you use one in your bedside lamp and the power blinks at 4am and it comes on @ 100% brightness because, unlike #Philips#Hue, you cannot change the “power on” behavior. Sooooo… today I went to #HomeDepot & bought a new Hue bulb to use instead and then promptly went into #HomeAssistant and set the bulb to be off when power is restored to it.

Are there any #Docker wizards around here?
I'm running my #SmartHome on docker (#HomeAssistant, mqtt, PiHole for adblocking and a few more), and I'm looking for better options to keep everything up to date.
I currently have a compose file with just latest pinned for every image, "What's up docker" to notify me when new images are available (based on the digest for "latest" changing), and a script that I run manually that pulls the newest images, restarts what's necessary, and then prunes the old images.
It works okay for keeping everything up to date, but falls flat as soon as I want to e.g. keep one image on a specific version temporarily.
What I'd like to have instead is the option to pin specific versions of containers, and a semi-automatic way to update the pinned versions in my docker-compose file, through a button I can click rather than (as it would be possible with WUD) something fully automatic, or me manually editing the compose file for every update.

Zastanawiam się czy nie powinienem zrobić kolejnego nagrania na ten temat, tym bardziej, że sporo się zmieniło w moim korzystaniu z inteligentnych urządzeń (choćby to, że zacząłem używać #HomePodMini).

Habe 5 davon und insgesamt 25€ bezahlt. Falls jemand sowas also braucht, gerne einfach melden. Funktionieren auf jeden Fall, aber sie würden mir mein eh schon überlastetes WLAN nur noch mehr belasten.
Here's a fun #HomeKit question for my #SmartHome peeps: I have a smart power strip for my Christmas tree. Like it lives in the box with the other decorations so it's only in rotation for a small part of the year.
Do you leave that device as "no response" for the rest of the year or do you remove and re-add it every time you set up the tree?
ETA: i'm not trying to solve some thing here, I'm curious how other people handle this.
