I took a walk at lunchtime between work today. It is a wonderful Spring day here in Launceston. I enjoyed the company of a magnificent Stone Pine, befriended a new Gingko, said hello again to a Pear Tree that's nearly 200 years old, and noticed a beautiful Cypress for the first time.
I couldn't help thinking that future generations may not have the same joy of a Spring time walk around a verdant park. That we are spoiling the beauty of this planet for the children of the future. Then it dawned on me that children across the globe are being murdered, starved, abused, exploited... The World's leaders have no regard for today's children, let alone tomorrows...
I had to block someone today. I didn't want to but their lack of compassion got to me.
I feel bad about it so I am going through a timeline cleanse.
Here's one of my favourite types of tree, a lemon tea tree. What is truly wonderful about this little tree is it's scent. So while looking at it, try imagining a deep fragrance of lemon.
