@heidilifeldman Yes, my heart goes out to everyone at #UNC today. While the outpouring of care for us at #MSU after February 13 buoyed us, the longer and more difficult road is to redress the underlying causes of gun violence. The classroom, the lab, the studio—these are sacred places of learning.
I wonder how many professors will resign or retire now due to guns? We moved across the country to get our last ten years in someplace with fewer guns.
A graduate student shot and killed his Professor today on a beautiful campus in a state with such lax gun laws that any 18 year old can go buy one.

Although school ofcls & local authorities didn’t provide details about the alleged shooting on campus, Gov Roy Cooper posted that he had spoken to the Orange County sheriff & the state’s public safety secretary & “pledged all state resources needed to capture the #shooter & protect the #UNC campus.”
The Scalia Second Amendment is fake and was made up in 2008, and we should expand the Supreme Court and return the 2nd Amendment to its original meaning.
